The Frequent Absence Rule – FAR Overview report

328 views 1 February 28, 2020 Updated on December 30, 2025 Juniorlogs Team

What does this Report do?

The FAR Overview Report helps you track the children with consistent or frequent absences for monitoring and for FAR Re-attestation. It is designed to support compliance with funding requirements and to prompt follow-up actions when needed.

IMPORTANT:

Run this report at the beginning of each new month to monitor and review absence patterns of the previous month/s, and perform re-attestation within a month as needed.

Key features:

  • RE-ATTEST: Performs a re-attestation  for the FAR on the system and downloads a re-attestation form for parents to sign, confirming ongoing eligibility.

  • CHANGE ENROLMENT: Clicking the Calendar icon takes you directly to the child’s booking page to adjust enrolment/booking details if needed.

  • The report automatically defaults to the previous month, but you can select any past month to view historical data.

How to access the Report

  1. Go to the Left Menu
  2. Click Reports
  3. Under the Booking and Attendance section, select FAR Overview Report
  4. Click Submit to generate the report
  5. You can save the report as a PDF, print, or export it to excel (CSV file).

You can click the “Hide History” button to be able to see a single month view.

If FAR counter for the previous month is 2 then the Re-Attest button is enabled, otherwise the button will be disabled. Re-attestation is only available within the current month.

Click the Re-Attest button. Once RE-ATTEST is performed for a child, the system automatically downloads the Re-attestation form. Moreover the form will be available for redownload as well by clicking the Download icon. After this action, the Re-Attest button will now be disabled.
