When a fee is marked optional:
- It will not affect any calculations or invoices.
- It will only exclude the optional fee from the invoice totals displayed on the FamilyBoost Quarterly Statements.
This is particularly useful for fees such as fundraising contributions, donations, or other charges that are considered optional. As per FamilyBoost guidelines, these should not be included in the statement totals.
To mark a fee as optional, simply turn on the “Optional Charge” toggle when adding a new fee under the Fixed Fees Schedule.
