Menu option: Children Activities > Routines
To help teachers quickly identify children who have allergies, medical needs, or routine notes, the Routines page on the Kiosk now displays two helpful icons for each child:
-
Health Indicator (for allergies or special medical needs)
-
Notes Indicator (for bottle, dietary, sleep, sunscreen, and toileting notes)
These indicators help teachers access important information instantly, without opening each child’s full profile.
1. Health Indicator
The Health Indicator will appear only when a child has medical information saved in their record.
When does it show?
It appears when either of the following fields contain information (Child’s Record → Health tab):
- Allergies
- Any special needs or medication required
- Family doctor
- Medical centre name & address
- Phone number
What happens when you tap it?
-
A popup opens showing the child’s medical details, including:
- Allergies
- Any special needs or medication required
- Family doctor
- Medical centre name & address
- Phone number
This ensures teachers can quickly view urgent or important health information.
2. Notes Indicator
A separate Notes Indicator appears when the child has routine-related notes saved in their record.
When does it show?
The indicator appears only if notes have been added under any of these categories (Child’s Record → Notes & Permissions tab):
- Bottle
- Dietary / Food
- Sleep
- Sunscreen
- Nappy or Toileting
What happens when you tap it?
-
A popup opens showing all related routine notes for the child.
-
This makes it easy to follow each child’s care preferences and needs throughout the day.
Where is it shown?
-
The Notes Indicator appears across all tables on the Routines page for consistent visibility.
