What’s New
All-New Message Centre
In line with our ongoing efforts to bring you a more modern and seamless Juniorlogs experience, we’re excited to unveil our re-vamped Message Centre 🎉
Here’s what you can look forward to:
- Cleaner, intuitive interface – designed for simplicity and ease of use.
- Faster performance – messages load and are sent quicker, so you can get things done without delay.
- Smarter navigation – everything is neatly organised, making it easier than ever to stay on top of your communication.
- Enhanced reliability – enjoy a smoother and more stable experience across the board.
New Temporary Closure: Restricted Opening
Based on valuable feedback from our users, we’re introducing a new type of temporary closure — Restricted Opening.
If your Centre is open for reduced hours on a particular day, you can now record this easily:
- Select Restricted Opening as the reason code.
- Enter the start and end times for which your Centre will be open.
- The system will take care of the rest. ✅
Important to note:
- Bookings and parent invoices will remain unchanged.
- MOE funding will be managed by the system automatically.
Add Temporary Closures directly from Calendar
You can now add Temporary Closures directly from the Calendar — just like creating an event! 📅
- Add closures from the Calendar with the same options as the designated page.
- Once added, the closure will display for the entire duration on your Calendar.
- Need to make changes? Simply click on the closure to edit it.
This makes it easier than ever to manage and view closures alongside your other Centre events.
Kiosk App – Filters Remain Active Until Reset
To make navigation easier, the Kiosk App will now remember the Child Status and Room filters once you apply them.
Your filter selection will be retained for the specific page where it was made, and these filters will remain active until you update or reset them.
Waha Rumaki / PITA Return
In line with the MOE’s directive to digitise the Waha Rumaki / PITA Return, we have now developed this return.
Please note:
- This return applies only to ECE Centres that provide Māori or Pacific immersion/bilingual education.
- A separate release note will be shared with the applicable Centres, providing step-by-step guidance on how to navigate and complete this return.
