🆕 Upgraded Access Roles
We have completed a major upgrade to our User Access Control functionality to provide enhanced security and flexibility in managing user permissions.
Most importantly, we have introduced our highly requested Read Only Mode. This is ideal for situations where you want to provide access to someone—such as an MoE auditor or a staff member—without allowing them to edit or change any information.
New Access Roles Now Available:
- Admin without Funding & Finance –Â (full system access except anything related to funding & finance)
- Admin without Finance –Â (full system access with finance module restricted)
- Admin without Users –Â (full system access but cannot add/edit/delete users)
- Admin without Funding, Finance & Staff –Â (full system access except anything related to funding, finance & staff)
- Admin Read Only –Â (can view all information but cannot edit or make any changes)
- Admin without Funding, Finance & Staff (Read Only) –Â (full system access except funding and finance – staff module accessible in read only mode)
- Admin with Children Only –Â (access to children related areas only)
- Admin with Finance Only –Â (access to finance related areas only)
These roles can be assigned when adding a new user or updating an existing one under List view > Users.
If you need assistance deciding which access role is the most suitable for a user on your team, please feel free to reach out to our support team.
📊 Finance & Accounts: Compact View is Back!
Within the Finance & Accounts module, we have revived the useful Compact View functionality.
- What it does:Â Clicking on the Compact View button will ‘zoom out’ or adjust the display density of the data.
- The benefit:Â This allows you to fit significantly more information and data columns onto your screen at once, making reviews more efficient.
✉️Introducing Merge Fields – Personalised Messaging Made Easy
We’re excited to roll out a new functionality in the Message Centre called Merge Fields.
Merge Fields allow you to personalise each message you send by inserting dynamic fields such as Parent Name, Child Name, and more.
When the message is sent, Juniorlogs will automatically populate these fields with the correct information for each recipient — saving you time and ensuring your communication feels personal and accurate.
New Default Template
We understand that Services often need to confirm the parent, additional, and emergency contacts they have on file for the children. To make this easier, we’ve added a ready-to-use default template under the Templates folder.
This template uses the merge fields, and you can now simply select it and send it to the parents of all enrolled children, helping you stay up to date with your records at all times.
