What’s New
📊 Reports Module Enhancements
We’ve introduced several improvements to the Reports module, including enhancements to existing reports and a brand-new report to make reviewing your data even easier.
👶 Enrolment Report – Enhanced
The Enrolment Report has been updated with new filtering options to give you greater flexibility when viewing enrolment activity.
✨ What’s New
- Starters Only toggle
- Leavers Only toggle
How it works
- When a date range is selected without either toggle enabled, the report will display all children who have either started or left during the selected period.
- Enabling Starters Only will display only children who started within the selected date range.
- Enabling Leavers Only will display only children who left within the selected date range.
📅 Bookings Report – 20 Hours Allocation
We’ve enhanced the Bookings Report by adding the ability to view 20 Hours ECE allocations directly within the report.
When enabled, the report will display the number of 20 Hours allocated for each day. Allocations are highlighted in green for quick identification.
✅ FAR Overview Report – Re-attestation Improvement
The Re-attest button will now only appear for children who are currently in Month 2 and require re-attestation.
Once re-attestation has been completed, the button will remain visible but will be disabled, providing a clear indication that the required action has already been performed.
🆕 New Report – Booking & Attendance Weekly Report
This report provides a comprehensive week-by-week view of children’s bookings and actual attendance, allowing you to:
👀 View booking and attendance records at a glance.
🔄 Easily compare scheduled bookings with actual attendance.
📑 Support reporting, auditing, and operational reviews with a clear weekly overview.
🎉 OSCAR Services
The following reports are now available for OSCAR Services:
📋 Bookings Report
📝 Weekly Attendance Records
New Feature: Staff ID Expiry Tracking & Automated Notifications
In addition to the existing Staff ID fields available within the record, you can now record the ID Expiry Date as well.
To ensure important expiry dates aren’t missed, Juniorlogs will automatically send notifications:
- 90 days before the ID expires.
- On the day the ID expires.
These notifications will be sent to both the staff member and the Centre Administrator, giving everyone plenty of time to renew the ID and keep staff records up to date.
🏡 Homebased Only: Associates Tab
We’ve introduced a new Associates tab within Staff Records, designed specifically for Homebased services.
This feature helps services meet the requirement of recording all associates (17 years of age or older) who live at the educator’s care address and are required to undergo a Police Check.
For each associate, you can record:
- Name
- Relationship to the Educator
- Police Check Expiry Date
- Additional Comments
To help ensure Police Checks remain current, Juniorlogs will automatically send notifications:
- 90 days before the Police Check expires.
- On the day the Police Check expires.
These notifications will be sent to both the Educator and the Administrator.
📋 Preset Kiosk Notes
For Centres using the Kiosk, you can now create preset notes that staff can quickly select from a dropdown list when sending notes to parents – no need to type the same messages over and over again.
To add your preset notes:
List View → Kiosk Notes → Click the “+” button to add a new note
Once you’ve added your preset notes, they’ll automatically appear in the Kiosk, allowing staff to simply select the appropriate note from the dropdown and send it to parents.
Offsite Activity Management
We’ve significantly enhanced the Offsite Activity functionality within the Kiosk App to help Centres meet the latest licensing requirements where it is now important for the Centres to notify parents when their child leaves for an offsite activity (such as excursions, field trips, walks, or other outings).
📝 Custom Offsite Activity Reasons
Head to List View > Offsite Activity Reasons to manage your offsite reasons.
We’ve included several common reasons by default, and you can also add your own custom reasons to suit your Centre’s needs.
